Q-Straint designed and developed the first fully integrated 4-point wheelchair securement system in for vehicle modification industry. This system is designed to isolate the forward forces of the occupant by directing their chair’s forces to the vehicle floor, in the event of an accident.

All four components work in one cohesive unit to allow for maximum safety. The 4-point system includes four wheelchair restraints which secure the wheelchair to the floor, a lap and shoulder belt so that integrate to the rear wheelchair restraints, and floor anchorages which are installed in the floor of the vehicle. QRT MAX The QRT MAX is the most recent 4-point securement system in the impressive line that Q-Straint has designed and developed over the past 25 years. A fully automatic retractor makes this wheelchair locking device easy to use, while ensuring passenger safety at the same time. Features include a knobless one-handed operation, automatic self locking, self-tensioning, positive lock indicator, the ability to accommodate larger wheelchairs, and a foot lever release as well.
QRT Deluxe The QRT Deluxe was the original self-locking, self-tensioning, retractable system that Q-Straint offered. It has set the standard in the industry for wheelchair locking devices. Some of its features include dual tightening knobs, positive lock indicator, j-hook, foot release lever, it is durable, low profile and compact, interchangeable and can accommodate larger wheelchairs.
QRT Standard The QRT Standard is a semi-automatic retractor system. Its economic design allows this wheelchair locking device to be the perfect fit for the cost-conscious individual, while meeting the standard safety requirements. Some features include a single tensioning knob, positive lock indicator, foot release lever, J-Hook, its durable, low profile and compact, interchangeable , with a universal design.
Q-Straint QER-4000 The Q-Straint QER-4000 is the world’s first 4m front electrical locking retractor. The design of this wheelchair locking device was intended for the easy securement of wheelchairs in vehicles. Some of the features include a 4m webbing, zinc casting, optional plastic cover, one bolt installation, minimum tensile strength of 1,500kg, it is compatible with all 12 volt vehicles, and has successfully undergone 50,000 cycle testing operations.
